my brother took me to mt. ranier national park the last time i visited him in wa. we drove to the visitors center “at the top” and did some short hikes there. coming down from one trail, we saw a trail called the waterfall trail which we followed. this was all i saw that could come close to a waterfall - a pretty humble one at that. but i did love the “just above a trickle” of water flowing through the beautiful moss. i’m always amazed at how green it is in many parts of the pacific northwest, compared to my home state of colorado.
