i was with one of my good friends, and a heckuva photographer, Jeremy Janus, to photograph the autumn colors. and of course, before we could proceed to the colors i saw this scene reflecting from the water of the lake. there was a slight fog rising from the hugely different temperatures of the water and the air, as indicated by the slight haze at the bottom of the image. i included just a small slice of the shoreline to indicate what it is that’s actually occurring in this image.
