as the days becomes shorter and shorter and the nip of a cool evening lasts into the morning, i’m reminded of what a fantastic season autumn is. i’m reminded of the many farms in the rolling hills where i grew up - the harvest of corn, grains and other bounties of the farmers in the area. and so it is, i’m offering prints of this - my favorite local barn, as my print of the month this month. i’ve photographed this barn from a number of different reference points. i’ve attempted composition after composition of this old barn. i’ve processed the images of the barn in both color and black and white. but this image, is by far my favorite of this old barn in the meadow.
