i’m not a big fan of full moons, if only because they usually wreck my opportunity for star gazing. however, when you’re camping in the middle of the desert, a full moon is pretty darned fantastic for lighting up absolutely everything. not only that, it also sets at about the time of sunrise and rises at just about sunset. given the crystal clear, blue skies we had on this morning, it was nice to have a nearly full moon as another area of interest in this image.
